Annual Backpack Project
Our Annual Backpack Project is underway
and we need your help to fill all these backpacks with school supplies!
Our goal is to provide local children with new backpacks filled with supplies needed for their school year. Last year we distributed 171 backpacks! These children are from families that are included in our monthly food program or have received other assistance during the year. Their family budgets don’t allow for extras such as backpacks and school supplies.

A list of needed school supplies is available through SignUpGenius, or the poster board with sticky notes located in the church narthex.

Additionally, donations can be made by check, payable to St. James Catholic Church and sent to the church office attention: Beth. Please be sure to mark Backpack Project on the memo line.

door #6 (this door is open 24 hours a day) or placed in the blue bin in the narthex when attending mass. All donations are due by Sunday, August 22nd.
